Shannon Wafford has over 20 years in the film, television and entertainment business. He started writing when he was young and has had many written works printed in publications across the country. He began his music career writing and playing in a band in San Diego in 1986. After he left the band he studied theater and attended 4 years of college drama classes.
His career has grown over the years since those days of doing "extra" work to doing stunts in TV and film. His credits include working on feature films and television with many great actors including Steve Martin, Brian Dennehy, Dennis Farina, John Lithgow, Jonathan Silverman and many more. He has also done production work on many sports shows including The X Games and the Super Bowl.
In 1998 Shannon began his production company called Snow Productions. As an independent TV and film producer he garnered many awards and accolades for his work. He has written, directed and produced 3 local TV shows and ranked in the top 5 for his time slot. In 2009 he was hired to turn a novel into a screenplay and film. As director and co producer he managed to complete the film on time and under the $100,000 budget.
Shannon has recently finished production on a documentary and music video remake of “Saturday Night” with Ian Mitchell from the Bay City Rollers. The video and documentary are due out later this year.
His current projects include a magazine style television show called "San Diego Lifestyle" and a feature documentary about military pilots called "A Date With Infamy."
My original music video "Birthday Party Song" is nearing 100,000 views on youtube! I am looking for financing for a feature documentary "A Date With Infamy" about Military pilots who joined after Pearl Harbor and their modern counterparts who joined because of Sept. 11.
