"Freedom" visually demonstrates the life of the African American culture during the peaks of slavery and inequality helping to portray the need for all to come together, ending racism and bigotry in all forms. Filmed in it's entirety in an Orlando suburb apartment no more than 1,000 square feet and on a budget less than $300 dollars; this video is reminiscent of the critically acclaimed film "The Color Purple", one of the directors favorite childhood movies of all time. Elizabeth June is currently an Orlando area resident originally from New York. Her extensive portfolio includes work on many short independent films as well as being an extra on daytime soaps and SNL.
