The first official stills of Helen Mirren and Russell Brand in character as Arthur have emerged, thanks to a profile on the film and star in the NY Times. Although based on the lovable drunk originally portrayed by Dudley Moore, Brand seems to be playing himself, i.e. an ascot-wearing rapscallion with a penchant for making a (insert preferred word here) out of himself.
