In the 2004 sequel The Chronicles of Riddick, star Vin Diesel wore the title character's goggles and tank tops, but it was Karl Urban who bravely demonstrated a willingness to wear a truly ridiculous outfit.  His jarhead-mohawk-mullet-thing and guyliner couldn't stop the New Zealand native from being kind of a badass as Lord Vaako, though, and it looks like he'll be sporting the interstellar rock-star outfit yet again in the new sequel which has been consistently referred to as Riddick, but might just have a new working title.

Synopsis: When a massive power blackout causes the population to inexplicably vanish, a small handful of survivors band together inside a desolate tavern struggling to survive as the darkness hones in on them. From director Brad Anderson ("The Machinist," "Transsiberian") comes an apocalyptic thriller with a terrifying vision of our world's end and a story that wrestles with the nature of existence itself.

Cillian Murphy - of the deservedly popular Inception - will star in British thriller The Retreat alongside Thandie Newton. The project comes from first-time writer/director Carl Tibbetts, who has little notable film experience outside of a few editing credits. Nevertheless, Tibbetts vision must be outstanding as he successfully managed to entice 3 very popular UK actors to lead the film.
