Director Robert Schwentke is in talks to direct Ryan Reynolds in the supernatural horror-comedy R.I.P.D., reports the L. A. Times. The job was thought to be McG's if he wanted it (as I reported last week) but, as was a concern, he's opted to devote his full attention to This Means War. Now Schwentke is the front-runner for the gig.
