With a sixty-second spot airing during Sunday's Super Bowl XLVII, Disney is laying on the Iron Man 3 hype extra thick.  The latest Marvel morsel intended to whet our collective appetite before Sunday is an entirely new poster.

With all the X-Men: Days of Future Past news and discussion going on lately, it's easy to forget that Bryan Singer actually has a huge movie arriving in theaters just over a month from now.  Two new domestic posters are here to remind audiences that Jack the Giant Slayer is right around the corner, and while it may not feature a single mutant, it does have a whole a lot of big digital giants.

Focus Features has unveiled a new theatrical one sheet for The Place Beyond the Pines, a crime drama starring Ryan Gosling, Bradley Cooper, and Eva Mendes.

We don't see much "wig comedy" these days, but the new poster for this March's The Incredible Burt Wonderstone suggests that this one movie will make up for the overall dearth in amusing hairpieces.

In anticipation of some sort of sporting event this Sunday, Disney is offering yet another commercial for a commercial with a glimpse at new footage from this summer's The Lone Ranger.

And maybe because a twenty-second tease of a piece of advertising feels a little insubstantial, the little sneak peek is accompanied by a brand new one sheet featuring Armie Hammer and Johnny Depp as the title character and Tonto, respectively.

Following yesterday's Alderaan-obliterating news that the first Disney Star Wars movie will be directed by J.J. Abrams, the studio rolled out a featurette and a character poster for the impending would-be blockbuster Oz the Great and Powerful. 

Since character posters travel in packs, Disney has released two additional character posters for two major characters.

The big Disney news today is, of course, word that the studio's first Star Wars movie is to be directed by franchise-hopping J.J. Abrams.  But let's not look to the far horizon of 2015.  Let's look to this March, when Oz the Great and Powerful brings a familiar magical land to the screen.  Disney has unveiled a quick featurette and a character poster, both of which focus on witchiness.

Jack the Giant Killer is set to stampede into theaters in just over a month, so Warner Bros. is hitting the gas on promotional for the big, expensive fantasy adventure.  That means the first TV spot has started appearing during football games and the like.  Naturally, that commercial is also online now, along with a banner that shows off a pair of CGI giant faces.

Not a moment too soon, FilmDistrict has unveiled the first theatrical trailer and one-sheet for Olympus Has Fallen, the White House-set action movie starring Gerard Butler as a disgraced Secret Service agent who stands between the nation and total disaster.
