Jamie Foxx has worked with some of Hollywood’s biggest directors, won an Oscar and has done the rare feat of also winning a couple of Grammys over the years. Yet, it was his experience on the Quentin Tarantino set of Django Unchained that may sit at the top of his life experience list. Foxx sat down with Movie Fanatic and at Comic-Con recently to take us inside the powerful story of a slave seeking justice.

Director Neill Blomkamp (District 9) has the most intriguing of concepts centering his next film. His Elysium stars, Matt Damon and Jodie Foster, landed at Comic-Con and told Movie Fanatic and as much about it as they could. You see, the film about a futuristic world where the rich all live on a luxury space station while the poor and middle class fight over the scraps that is otherwise known as modern life on Earth, is surrounded by secrecy.

Sam Raimi has paired quite a pair of actresses in Mila Kunis and Michelle Williams as showcased in the Oz the Great and Powerful trailer. The two stars of the recent Oscar- nominated Black Swan and My Week with Marilyn, respectively, are immediately ready to extol all the praise on their director.

Director Guillermo del Toro arrived in San Diego to show off some scenes from his highly anticipated, deeply secretive film Pacific Rim. Fresh off of showing footage to the packed Hall H crowd, the filmmaker spoke about the experience to reveal just a smidge of his film that looks utterly mind-blowing.

The stars of Total Recall and their director, Len Wiseman, landed at Comic-Con and talked to us about their remake of the Arnold Schwarzenegger 1990 classic.

The Hobbit made a splash at Comic-Con this year as Peter Jackson announced plans for a possible third film. But when filmmaker Peter Jackson and Martin Freeman, who plays Bilbo, sat down to talk about their highly anticipated flick, the conversation first turned to Comic-Con newbie Freeman and his initial impressions.

Tim Burton adores coming to Comic-Con. In fact, he recalls when it was in its infancy. “I remember coming to this in the late 70s when it was at the Holiday Inn,” Burton said at the annual celebration of all things pop culture. “It’s amazing what it’s turned into. There’s something very magical about this place.”

What it has grown into as a chance for Hollywood to meet the press and talk about upcoming films. Burton is here talking a passion project like no other, Frankenweenie.

Director Neill Blomkamp (District 9) appeared in Hall H at Comic-Con International 2012 in San Diego on Friday to discuss his upcoming sci-fi film Elysium with the packed crowd of fans. In addition to Blomkamp, the panel included Oscar-winning actors Matt Damon and Jodie Foster, as well as Sharlto Copley, and producer Simon Kinberg.

Copley discussed the new film, its story, his character, reuniting with director and friend Neill Blomkamp, and what he learned from working with Matt Damon. 

You can forgive the stars of Breaking Dawn - Part 2 for being a little giddy on the beginning of their victory tour for the end of the Twilight Saga. “We’ve always had that relationship,” Taylor Lautner asks Robert Pattinson when asked about if Jacob and Edward become friends in Stephenie Meyer’s final chapter.
