SDCC 2014: Thursday Schedule

To paraphrase that song from the Star Trek: Enterprise opening credits, It's been a long road gettin' from there to here.  It's been a long time, but Comic-Con is finally near.

That's right ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls of all ages, San Diego is once again on the verge of hosting the world's single biggest gathering of genre enthusiasts.  In excess of a hundred thousand nerdlingers are even now descending on the Southern California mecca to revel in their interests, from comic books to movies to TV shows and everything in between.

Preview Night, on Wednesday, is like the hors d'oeuvres before the proper meal of Comic-Con, a meal that extends from the exhibitor floor all the way through the city's Gaslamp District.

But San Diego Comic-Con properly kicks off on Thursday, July 24, 2014.

IAR will, of course, be on hand to bring you the big news from Hall H and all over the Con to end all cons.  But no matter how hard we try, we just can't be at every panel and event of interest to you.  Facing that impossibility, we here at IAR have instead created Comic-Con schedule cheat sheets for each of the days of Comic-Con.  That way, all the Rogues out there can get a rundown of the roguish events at Comic-Con.

On Thursday, that includes a big Sony Pictures presentation showcasing next summer's Goosebumps and Pixels starring Jack Black and Adam Sandler, respectively.  The long-awaited adaptation of Lois Lowry's acclaimed The Giver gets a Hall H panel, the art of Disney Animation's Big Hero 6 is spotlighted, and even Sharknado 2: The Second One gets in on the Con action.

Here's IAR's cheat sheet schedule for Thursday, July 24th:
