Jackson (Iron Man 2), Jeremy Renner (The Avengers), Cobie Smulders (Captain America: The Winter Soldier), Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Godzilla), and Elizabeth Olsen (Godzilla) appeared in Hall H at Comic-Con International 2014 in San Diego on Saturday to discuss their upcoming film Avengers: Age of Ultron, which is a sequel to 2012's The Avengers.
IAR's Managing Editor Jami Philbrick had a rare chance to speak with Kevin Feige, Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Samuel L. Jackson, Jeremy Renner, Cobie Smulders, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Elizabeth Olsen about Avengers: Age of Ultron. Feige discussed the footage shown in Hall H, Downey's return to playing Tony Stark, Hemsworth's view on the relationship between Thor and Hulk, if Ruffalo is interested in making a Planet Hulk movie, Evans' take on the characters, why Jackson thinks the cast gets along so well, why Renner likes working with director Joss Whedon, if Taylor-Johnson and Olsen looked to the comic books to help inform their performances, and if Smulders believes Maria Hill will have a larger role in this film than in the original.
