SDCC 2012 VIDEO: Director RZA and David Bautista Talk 'The Man with the Iron Fists'

Iconic rapper-turned-writer/director RZA (Wu-Tang Clan) made a surprise appearance at Comic-Con International 2012 in San Diego on Thursday to help promote his upcoming feature film directorial debut entitled The Man with the Iron Fists, which is scheduled for release on November 2nd. RZA co-wrote the screenplay with accomplished director Eli Roth (Hostel), and the film features an impressive cast of actors that includes Oscar-winner Russell Crowe (Gladiator), Lucy Liu (Kill Bill: Vol. 1), Jamie Chung (Sucker Punch), Pam Grier (Jackie Brown), and wrestler-turned-actor David Bautista

On behalf of iamROGUE.com and Moviefanatic.com, IAR's Managing Editor Jami Philbrick had a chance to catch up with RZA and David Bautista on the red carpet at The Expendables 2 party, which was held at the Hard Rock Hotel on Thursday night, to discuss The Man with the Iron Fists. The two men talked about their new film, RZA's directorial debut, how Bautista thinks he did, what RZA learned about directing from his mentors Jim Jarmusch, John Woo, and Quentin Tarantino, his all-time favorite martial arts films, working with Russell Crowe, and the music for the film, which will feature a new song by Kanye West
