The United Kingdom and these United States of America have long enjoyed a special relationship that comes with a certain shared history and language.  Part of that relationship involves sampling and incorporating each others' pop culture; England gave us The Office (which we then remade in our own image), we gave England The Wire.  This mutually beneficial sampling encompasses all media, including movies, television, music, and comedy.

Bill Bailey is an insanely popular comedian across the Atlantic, and he's familiar to Anglophiles on this side of the pond due to his work on the awesome British television series Spaced and Black Books, as well as films like Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg's Hot Fuzz, as well as The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, where he played twin police sergeants and the voice of a doomed whale, respectively.

Opening in theaters on May 13th is the new drama from writer/director Spencer Susser (I Love Sarah Jane) called Hesher. The movie premiered at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival and features an amazing cast of actors that includes Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Inception), Natalie Portman (Thor), Rainn Wilson (Super),  Piper Laurie (Carrie), and newcomer Devin Brochu.
