Opening in theaters on October 7th is the new coming of age comedy from first time director Abe Sylvia called Dirty Girl. The film features an excellent cast of young and veteran actors including Juno Temple (The Dark Knight Rises), Milla Jovovich (The Fifth Element), William H. Macy (Fargo), Mary Steenburgen (Back to the Future Part III), Dwight Yoakam (Sling Blade), Nicholas D'Agosto (Final Destination 5), Tim McGraw (The Blind Side), and newcomer Jeremy Dozier.

IAR's managing editor Jami Philbrick recently had a chance to sit down and talk with actors Juno Temple and Jeremy Dozier about their work in Dirty Girl. The actors spoke openly about the film, their characters and the friendship that they form, working with writer/director Abe Sylvia, the '80s, and the music of Melissa Manchester.

Maybe it’s just my love for Gwyneth Paltrow, but she sounded sweet as a fresh baked apple pie on last night’s CMA Awards. She was ably backed by country singer Vince Gill on harmonies for her live-singing country debut.

“Country Strong” was the track she performed, and it is also the title of her upcoming feature about a fallen country singer. And judging from her performance last night, and the standing ovation she received, she fits very nicely into an old pair of cowboy boots.
