Rogue 10: I Want Candy! Top n' Tasty Trick or Treats!

Its Halloween weekend! What are you going to be this year? I am planning on paying tribute to “rap star” Joaquin Phoenix for my costume… haven’t shaved the beard for a long damn time! What about you? Jigsaw? Michael Myers? The Human Centipede? Or will you be one of the many Super Mario Brothers trying to save their gal?

Either way, you have to figure it out now. And once you have the costume, you should pick up some of the tastiest treats for all the trick or treaters out there. Well we here at would like to offer a few suggestions as to what candies rock our world!

This coming October 31, when the children fill the streets with their costumes and their candy bags, let’s not disappoint. We all know the dark and scary things that roam around this holiday weekend. You give someone the wrong candy and who knows what vengeful curse it may bring upon you.

“Trick or treat, smell my feet, gimme something good to eat!”… Here are the Rogue 10 Halloween Candies!

10. Fun Dip

It’s all in the name, Fun Dip! You take that candy stick and the tangy powder and you are already having a fun time on Halloween!

9. Laffy Taffy

Laffy Taffy comes in all flavors and it is surprisingly good. You have “banana”, “strawberry” and more, the only downside is that freakin’ wrapper is a pain to get off. Here is a tip, tear it down the middle.

8. Skittles

A rainbow of flavor! Skittles are the fruity version of Reese’s Pieces and will delight most taste buds. Sure they are kind of hard on your teeth, but they are certainly delicious.

7. Good & Plenty

These babies grow on ya! While these are my least favorite alongside another similar candy higher on the list, there sure are Good (and Plenty?). Again though, watch out for those teeth.

6. Tootsie Pops

How many licks does it take to get to the chewy center? Who the hell cares! Tootsie Rolls rock, so the idea of spending a little time with a fruity sucker is easy to deal with. Plus, you can make a ghost out of them with napkins or something like that.

5. Candy Corn

There is no Halloween without candy corn. Yes there are many that hate it – just listen to Kevin and Bean over on 106.7, KROQ Los Angeles – but you can’t deny the power of the corn. Yellow, orange and delicious! And sometimes they come in other colors too!

4. “Fun Size” Candy Bars

Sure, we’d all rather have a full size candy bar, but that just isn’t going to happen. With the “fun size”, you still get to enjoy such delightful goodies as Milky Way, Snickers, Payday, Kit Kat and all sorts of tasty chocolates, chewy caramel and more.

3. Tootsie Rolls

These babies come in all shapes and sizes. This chewy goodness is a delight anytime, but this is the perfect holiday snack so feel free to have tons of ‘em.

2. Reese’s

Who put chocolate in my peanut butter? Who put peanut butter in my chocolate? Man was that a truly creepy commercial? Yet credit must be given to the genius who put the two together. Mmmmmmm… good!

And now, our number one treat!

1. Hot Tamales

They may not be for everybody, but these hot little pieces of heaven are addictively good. Whenever Hot Tamales are around, they don’t last long!

What are some of your favorite candies? Who here HATES Hot Tamales? Leave your comments below!
