Presented, for your viewing pleasure and possible sexual gratification: Ron, Brian Fantana, Champ Kind, and Brick Tamland. Once the highest-rated newsteam in San Diego, this fabled group of men amongst men has disbanded since their seventies heyday, of which the world got a sweet, syrupy taste in Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy.
Now, though, these titans are back and, as the expression goes, bigger than ever. Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, David Koechner, and Steve Carell make like kaiju on these character posters, courtesy of Funny or Die, Moviefone, Total Film, and Yahoo! Movies. As you can see, these heroes are taking Manhattan. In Anchorman 2, the newsteam rises to a national stage on a 24-hour news network during the go-go eighties.
With the December 20th release fast approaching, Paramount is spurring on the palomino promotional stallion for Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues. These character posters join a theatrical one-sheet and two new trailers unveiled in October. Oh, and Ron got a big advertising deal last month too.
And Paramount has just announced that Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues will be receiving the "superticket" treatment first rolled out for World War Z. Purchasing one of these supertickets allows you to see Adam McKay's latest movie two days before its nationwide release.
Check out the announcement for details:
