Jessica Alba's Nudity In 'Machete' Was Computer Generated; Is This The Future of Film Nudity?

It’s time to haul out the longest roll of tissue ever invented; Jessica Alba didn’t really get naked in that shower scene during Robert Rodriguez's Machete, that was all computer enhancement.

Yeah, I know, I wish I didn’t know this now myself… it was so much better believing in a technological lie.

That technological lie however, was a brilliant maneuver from director Robert Rodriguez. Rodriguez knows what people want to see. There’s no mystery in the fact that damn near every male that entered the theater to see Machete was secretly hoping for a little Jessica Alba nipple slip, or hey, maybe even a shower scene!

And Rodriguez was right! One of the first things I heard about the film was a tale of a nude creature named Jessica Alba that men worldwide lust over. I’ll admit, if I wasn’t already a Robert Rodriguez fan, that little bit of info may have lead me to theaters in anticipation of one single scene itself.

So, now knowing what you’ve truly seen, do you feel cheated? And, I offer forth a better question: will no nudity clauses increase within the film industry as more CGI nudity is incorporated into films?

By the way, you can actually take a look at the pre-CGI shot versus post below!
