Verbinski And Depp Reunite For ’The Lone Ranger’

Johnny Depp and director Gore Verbinski clearly make a fantastic team. Verbinski directed the first three Pirates of the Caribbean pictures, as well as the upcoming animated feature Rango, which also stars Depp voicing the titular lizard. It's clear these two see eye-to-eye, and I for one, am all in for another collaboration.

Another collaboration is exactly what we'll get, as we've now learned that once again, these two will team up for a very interesting project: The Lone Ranger. Depp will portray the role of Tonto, while the Lone Ranger himself has yet to be cast.

The picture will be released by Disney, and produced by powerhouse Jerry Bruckheimer.

We’ll keep you informed as more casting and production news breaks, for now, just be happy with the fact that these two are working together yet again!
