Here’s a riddle: What has Channing Tatum, Ray Liotta, Al Pacino, Katie Holmes, Juliette Binoche, and what may be the first serious dramatic role for Tracy Morgan? The Son of No One. It’s s a closing night film at Sundance, which means we’ll soon be seeing all manner of reviews on the film, but today, we have a trailer for your viewing pleasure.
The film is directed by Dito Montiel (Fighting, A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints) and if you look real close in the trailer, you’ll catch a glimpse of James Ransome, the young character actor who played Ziggy in the second season of The Wire.
While the trailer downplays Morgan’s role, it’s my understanding that’s he basically the film’s second lead. Do you think he can pull of a role that doesn’t involve comedic shirtlessness?
