Never Let Me Go trailer debut

Hard to believe, but it's been eight years since the talented music video director has had a feature film released, that being 2002's disturbing ONE HOUR PHOTO. He's finally ready for his theatrical encore and it comes in the form of NEVER LET ME GO.

Here's the plot break down: Kathy, Tommy and Ruth live in a world and a time that feel familiar to us, but are not quite like anything we know. They spend their childhood at Hailsham, a seemingly idyllic English boarding school. When they leave the shelter of the school and the terrible truth of their fate is revealed to them, they must also confront the deep feelings of love, jealousy and betrayal that threaten to pull them apart.

Based on a book by author Kazuo Ishiguro ("The Remains of the Day") and boasting a strong cast lead by Carey Mulligan, Keira Knightley, Andrew Garfield, Sally Hawkins and Charlotte Rampling, NEVER LET ME GO looks like prime Oscar bait. It hits theaters this October; enjoy the trailer below.
