The NZT commercial is inspired by the US anti-narcotics campaign by Partnership for a Drug-Free America (PDFA) launched in 1987, that shows an egg frying in a pan and says, "This is Drugs; This is Your Brain on Drugs; Any Questions?" TV Guide named the commercial one of the top one hundred television advertisements ever.
In the Limitless commercial spoof, the viewer is shown a clear pill (NZT) and the voice says, "This is NZT; This is Your Brain on NZT (Insert Your Footage Here); Any Questions?" Of course, the way a viewer can respond is, well, limitless!
