Brain on NZT: 'Limitless' Movie Contest Winner

Relativity Media and Rogue Digital launched "This is Your Brain on NZT: Limitless Movie contest" on February 28th. In order to win an iPAD, participants were asked to create their own version of their Brain on NZT: LIMITLESS PSA and submit their video response via YouTube. Relativity Media’s Limitless, starring Bradley Cooper, Abbie Cornish and Robert De Niro, led the company to its highest opener as a fully-integrated motion picture studio, announced today by Relativity’s president of theatrical distribution Kyle Davies.

Opening on Friday, March 18 in 2,756 locations in North America, the film impressively took the top spot by grossing an estimated $19 million—far exceeding industry expectations and projections. Limitless is a paranoia-fueled action thriller about an unsuccessful writer whose life is transformed by a top secret “smart drug” that allows him to use 100% of his brain and become a perfect version of himself. His enhanced abilities soon attract shadowy forces that threaten his new life.

The film is directed by Neil Burger and written by Leslie Dixon, based on the novel Limitless (originally The Dark Fields) by Alan Glynn. The film was produced by Leslie Dixon, Scott Kroopf, and Ryan Kavanaugh and co-produced by Virgin Produced, Sir Richard Branson’s first film from his newly formed production company.
