Men in Black III is now shooting one again, after a longer-than-expected production interruption. The break in shooting was part of Sony's plan, with filming divided between contemporary scenes, and those in which Will Smith's character Agent J travels back in time to the formation of the secretive agency. Persistent script problems, however, caused quite a delay before everything got rolling again. In the past, the younger version of Tommy Lee Jones' character, Agent K, will be played by Josh Brolin. New photos of the shoot made their way online at Xposurephotos (via The Daily Mail), and they give us our first look at Brolin in costume as Agent K.

Brolin's pulling a particularly Jones-ian expression in that third picture. Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones reunite with franchise director Barry Sonnenfeld. Also returning is Rip Torn as MiB head Zed. Josh Brolin is not alone among newcomers, as Jemaine Clement, Emma Thompson, Alice Eve, and Nicole Scherzinger are also aboard. Little fact I haven't seen circulating too much: the new film will include a jaunt to a Men in Black detention facility on the moon, which you'll be able to see in 3D on May 25, 2012.
