New 'Men in Black 3' Photos Reveal Jemaine Clement as Boris

In Men in Black III, Will Smith's Agent J does some time-traveling, heading back to 1960's, when the extraterrestrial-policing organization was formed.  Previous photos from the set have shown the period setting and Josh Brolin in costume as the younger version of Agent K, played in contemporary scenes once again by Tommy Lee Jones.  Now, new images snapped of filming in Coney Island provide our first look at the film's villain, Boris, an interstellar biker with an ax to grind, brought to life by 1/2 of Flight of the Conchords, Jemaine Clement.

The photos are from Solaria Sun, and their brief report also makes mention of many a celebrity look-alike on set, including facsimiles for Andy Warhol, Yoko Ono, Jimi Hendrix, and Janice Joplin.  Here's Smith, Clement, Smith again, and some background hippies:

Men in Black III has had a strange, interrupted production.  The schedule included an extended break between filming of modern scenes and those set in 1969.  That break was extended repeatedly to facilitate reportedly extensive rewrites.

Nonetheless, the film will hit theaters in 3D on May 25, 2012.  Smith and Jones are returning, along with series director Barry Sonnenfeld.  The familiar Men in Black cast members are joined by Brolin, Clement, Emma Thompson, Alice Eve, and Nicole Scherzinger.
