Everyone has movie pet peeves. Some people hate the fictitious telephone prefix 555. Others cannot abide by weaponry that magically fires without reloading. To quote the late George Carlin, "I don't have pet peeves, I have major psychotic f**king hatreds," and one of them is when you see a skull in a movie and that skull inexplicably still has a jawbone attached.

Credit to the marketing team for keeping the jaw all up off the skull on this Final Destination 5 poster. With that said, I do hope they consider my title suggestion of Final Five. In this installment, the survivors of a suspension bridge collapse are being picked off one by one, but luckily for them, exposition-spouter Tony Todd is back for the first time since Final Destination 2. The film is directed by Steven Quale, who earned his stripes as the visual effects supervisor and second unit director on Avatar.
