Los Angeles, CA, May 9, 2011. Might & Fright Film Festival is
proud to announce this year's panel of judges. The list includes Lena
Headey, Jon Schnepp, Jimmy Palmiotti, Brianna Evigan and Jim Krueger.
It is definitely an all-star lineup of people coming from the worlds of
Comics, TV, & Film. We believe that the group of judges we have
assembled for the inaugural Film Festival shows that this will be a
fun-filled weekend that the fans can really support with their creative
and innovative entries. The judges and organizers of Might & Fright
Film Festival are excited to see what the fans are doing in today's
world of short films.
MIGHT AND FRIGHT JUDGES' BIOS
Briana Evigan is an American actress and dancer, best known for her
leading roles in "Step Up 2: The Streets," "Sorority Row," "S. Darko,"
Burning Bright," and most recently the horror film "Mother's Day" by
"Saw II" director Darren Bousman.
Lena Headey is a British actress who is best known for her appearances
in The Brothers Grimm (2005), 300 (2006), and the series "Terminator:
The Sarah Connor Chronicles" (2008). She currently stars in HBO's
"Game of Thrones" (2011).
Jim Krueger is a comic book writer and creator best known for his award
winning Earth X trilogy with Alex Ross for Marvel Comics, as well as
Avengers, X-Men, Star Wars, The Matrix Comics, Micronauts, Galactic,
Justice, Avengers/Invaders and Batman. His original works include The
Foot Soldiers, Alphabet Supes, The Clock Maker and The Last Straw Man.
Jimmy Palmiotti is a multi-Award winning character creator with a wide
range of experience in advertising, production, consulting, editorial,
film writing, development and production, media presentation and video
game development that include Nike, Nickelodeon, Universal Pictures,
Disney, Warner Brothers, DreamWorks, Lion's Gate, Vidmark, Starz, Fox
Atomic, Alliance Films, New Line, Spike TV, MTV, 2kgames, Midway,
Radical games, Activision and THQ games. His current work includes:
"Animated Superhero Squad" and "Claws 2" for Marvel comics; "Jonah
Hex," "Deathstroke," and "Ame -Comi"for D.C.COMICS; "The Last Resort"
for I.D.W; "Back to Brooklyn" and "Random Acts of Violence" for Image
comics; "Time Bomb" for Radical Comics ; and "Booksmart" for Kickstart.
Jon Schnepp is an American producer, director, actor, editor, writer and cinematographer. His company, Schneppzone, has worked on many shorts and television shows. Schnepp has directed "The Upright Citizens Brigade, The Venture
Bros., Marvel's Black Panther, and Metalocalypse", as well a top-secret
horror film.

Might & Fright Short Film Festival 2011 to be held Saturday &
Sunday, October 29-30, 2011 at the Long Beach Convention Center (LBCC)
in downtown Long Beach.
This announcement comes on the heels of the second year's show at the
Long Beach Convention Center. It will be added to the slate of
ever-growing events built into the third year's show in 2011. This
won't just be another Short Film Festival since we will focus on
showcasing the best films out there with a comic book or horror feel to
it. We want to find the best short films from across the country that
concentrate on genre material and give them a home to be screened in
front of an audience that will appreciate the work.
