Vampire Love: First 'Twilight: Breaking Dawn - Part 1' Trailer

I have something in common with Jacob Black, the lovestruck lupine teen played in the Twilight films by Taylor Lautner. When I found out the love of my life was marrying a vampire, I also ran off into the rain, removed my shirt, and turned into a giant wolf. That's just one of the things you'll see in the first trailer for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1, the penultimate adaptation of the hugely popular novels by Stephenie Meyer. Also on display: the wedding and subsequent vampire-on-human lovemaking between Kristen Stewart's Bella and Robert Pattinson's Edward. If interspecies eroticism doesn't get your attention, I don't know what will.

The trailer was set to debut during tonight's MTV Movie Awards, but has hit early online, and we have it here thanks to Collider.

To class up the final two entries in the oh-so profitable Twilight franchise, Summit Entertainment brought aboard director Bill Condon, who previously wrote and directed Dreamgirls and Kinsey, capping the series off with some prestige polish. Condon is directing from a screenplay by Melissa Rosenberg, who has adapted all three previous novels. Supporting players Anna Kendrick, Michael Sheen, Dakota Fanning, Billy Burke, Jackson Rathbone, Ashley Green, Peter Facinelli, and Kellan Lutz are all back in action for this second-to-last taste of Twilight.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 hits theaters on November 18th, with the final installment arriving a year later.
