Loads of Leather: New One-Sheet for 'The Three Musketeers'

This fall, director Paul W.S. Anderson's The Three Musketeers will update the Alexandre Dumas story that has endured for nearly 170 years by gussying it up with 3D, huge somersaulting stunts, explosions, and no shortage of steampunk weaponry. A new poster for the film debuted today, and it indicates that D'Artagnan, Porthos, Athos, and Aramis have a previously-unexplored predilection for stylish leather. It also features a six-way facial hair competition that includes Orlando Bloom, Christoph Waltz, and Ray Stevenson. Also swords. Lots of swords.

The poster first dropped at Yahoo! Movies.

Athos, Aramis, and Porthos themselves are played by Matthew Macfadyen, Luke Evans, and Ray Stevenson, with Logan Lerman as D'Artagnan. Milla Jovovich is M'lady De Winter, while Orlando Bloom and Christoph Waltz play the Duke of Buckingham and Cardinal Richelieu. Down in the left corner you can see Mads Mikkelsen as Rochefort.

Paul W.S. Anderson, who is is actually married to Jovovich, previously directed Mortal Kombat, AVP: Alien vs. Predator, Event Horizon, and Resident Evil. He recently cut his teeth with 3D on Resident Evil: Afterlife.

The Three Musketeers hits theaters on October 14, 2011.
