Final Trailer for 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2'

Many fans of JK Rowling's novels were upset when the feature adaptation of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince did not end with the brief Hogwarts wand battle that capped off the book.  Director David Yates felt that such an action sequence would detract from the Battle of Hogwarts, which serves as the climax for the entire series.  Based on the final trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, Yates needn't have worried.  The battle looks suitably spectacular, with Daniel Radcliffe's Harry engaged in a brutal, drawn out showdown with Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes) and his Death Eaters.  See all the epic action for yourself.

What kind of sicko burns down a Quidditch pitch?

For seven films now, the franchise has built to to this point, and based on everything we've seen, as well as the track record of the entire creative team, cast, and crew, it doesn't seem likely that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 will disappoint.  While the novel certainly wasn't short on drama, it looks as though the film has upped the stakes even more during the Siege and subsequent knock-down drag-out battle at the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

This July 15th, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 offers our last chance to see Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, Matthew Lewis, Gary Oldman, Maggie Smith, Robbie Coltrane, Bonnie Wright, and a host of others in action within the world of muggles and wizards.

Pretty nuts that this is the very last new Harry Potter theatrical trailer we'll ever see, isn't it?  Don't hold back your tears, folks.
