The tagline "Everybody has one" does not allow for the fact that some people, like myself, do not have an idiot brother, but are in fact someone's idiot brother.

This independent comedy-drama from director Jesse Peretz was one of the big titles at the Sundance Film Festival back in January, and the Weinstein Company wasted no time in acquiring the picture. It was very well reviewed at the fest, but even if it hadn't been, the cast is stacked with familiar comedic actors on which to sell the film. There's Rudd, who looks to be deviating from his sardonic wiseass persona, along with Banks, Mortimer, and Deschanel, but they're also accompanied by Adam Scott, Rashida Jones, Steve Coogan, and T.J. Miller, all of whom have proven themselves as comedic actors.
Our Idiot Brother will receive a wide release on August 26th. In the meantime, here's that trailer one more time, thanks to Yahoo! Movies.
