It's a teaser, but it sets up the basic time travel premise and reminds us all what a Men in Black movie looks and feels like. The trailer embed is courtesy of the good folks at ComingSoon.
We've seen set photos in the past, so we knew that Josh Brolin was the spitting image of a young Agent K, but the trailer uses him just right, and it really is uncanny. He only gets the one line here, but his voice sounds distinctly Jones-ian. The film's plot finds Smith's Agent J traveling back in time to the 1960's in order to prevent an intergalactic biker with a mind for revenge from killing the matter of fact Man in Black and changing the whole timeline, Back to the Future style.
Jemaine Clement of Flight of the Conchords plays the biker, who goes by the name of Boris, and he's joined by fellow new additions Brolin, Emma Thompson, Alice Eve, Nicole Scherzinger, and the great Bill Hader. Returning from past MiB adventures is Rip Torn as the organization's head honcho, Zed. Barry Sonnenfeld, who hasn't directed a feature since RV in 2006, is back in the saddle, and hopefully he can recapture some of the cartoony fun of the original.
Men in Black 3 drops in 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D on May 25th, so be sure to snag some Rogue 3D Eyewear before then.
