You can head over to Apple for the full, testosterone-soaked minute in high definition. Or just watch it here. You'll get the basic idea.
On the first film, the incorporation of Willis and Schwarzenegger into so much of the film's marketing sort of backfired, since both were just quick cameos. This trailer promises that they'll both actually do something in the sequel, but by making both basically the culmination of the teaser, one can't help but wonder if fans will again be disappointed with their screen time.
Sylvester Stallone wrote, directed, and starred in the first film, which went on to be a somewhat unlikely commercial success following his resurrections of both Rocky and Rambo franchises. For The Expendables 2, though, the improbably ripped 65-year old ceded principal writing responsibility to David Agosto and Ken Kaufman. Directing the sequel is Simon West, the action veteran responsible for Con-Air, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, and the When a Stranger Calls and The Mechanic remakes.
The Expendables 2 is scheduled to drop shells in theaters on August 17, 2012.
*Somebody seriously messed up by not getting Mr. T involved in this.
