In case you're wondering, the MPAA gave Project X an R rating, for "crude and sexual content throughout, nudity, drugs, drinking, pervasive language, reckless behavior and mayhem - all involving teens." Promising. Sign me up for the juvenile ridiculousness. Here's the poster, thanks to IMP Awards.

The film is the directorial debut of Nima Nourizadeh, who was working from a screenplay by Matt Drake and Michael Bacall. Bacall, an actor who played a small role in Inglourious Basterds, also served as co-writer on Scott Pilgrim vs. the World and the upcoming 21 Jump Street, which has been getting crazy-enthusiastic notices from the few who've seen it.
Project X's cast includes Thomas Mann, Oliver Cooper, Alexis Knapp, Sam Lant, Jonathan Daniel Brown, Nichole Bloom, and Miles Teller, who held it down with aplomb as Willard in that Footloose remake. The film hits theaters on March 2nd.
