Just as the teaser trailer sold the global scale of Retribution, the poster makes that same statement by smooshing together a bunch of recognizable global cities into one geographically improbable location, with the Umbrella Corporation logo in the water. The promo art does the same to a much more limited extent, choosing instead to focus on Jovovich firing guns like crazy.

Paul W.S. Anderson, who wrote and directed Resident Evil, sat out two installments, Resident Evil: Apocalypse and Resident Evil: Extinction. He returned for 2010's Resident Evil: Afterlife, the first entry in the franchise to be filmed in 3D. After that sequel's success, you better believe that Retribution is also in three dimensions, meaning if you want to see it properly, you're going to need some Rogue 3D Eyewear.
Jovovich is the face of the series, but Retribution will bring in characters both new and familiar, played by actors including Sienna Guillory, Michelle Rodriguez, Li Bingbing, Oded Fehr, Keven Durand, and Colin Salmon, who appeared in the first film and also showed up on The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret.
Re5ident Evil: Retribution arrives in theaters on September 14th.
