Disney 'Mouth'-ing Off About Next Musical

Disney is pulling from their TV ranks to cast their next big High School Musical-esque film. Based off the book Lemonade Mouth, the movie tells the tale of "five disparate high school students who meet in detention and form a band."

Like the rest of their fare for young adults, the project seems formulaic yet highly satisfying. If you are a Disney Channel fan like me, you will easily recognize all the names on the below list. If not, you might not even care that this movie is even being made. Either way, the musical will most likely be a hit within the young adult demographic and serve as a launching pad for these young actors' careers:

Bridgit Mendler - Disney's Good Luck Charlie
Adam Hicks - Disney's Zeke and Luther
Hayley Kiyoko - Disney's Wizards of Waverly Place
Naomi Scott - Disney UK's Life Bites
Blake Michael - unknown...

Lemonade Mouth will be directed by relative newcomer, Patricia Riggen (Under the Same Moon) and will be released in 2011.
