There was a lot of talk that Albert Brooks would be getting recognition at the Oscars this year, but his unexpectedly menacing, mercenary turn got shut out in the Academy Award nominations. He did pick up some notices from critical organizations and the like, though. And he did incredible work that speaks for itself. Also doing solid work in Drive are Carey Mulligan, Bryan Cranston, Ron Perlman, Christina Hendricks, and Oscar Isaac. Go pick up the Blu-ray or DVD as a purchase or rental today, folks.
