Another Image of People Looking Offscreen in 'Prometheus'

It's been a while since we've seen another new still from Prometheus, the kinda-sorta Alien prequel from director Ridley Scott, so here's a new one.  20th Century Fox has maintained the film's much-ballyhooed sense of mystery throughout the issuing of official images by ensuring that the vast majority feature characters staring, usually in awe, at something very much offscreen.  This fresh Prometheus image sticks to that form, with Noomi Rapace and Logan Marshall-Green standing in their spacesuits, looking at something we can't see.

What are these two space-scientists looking at in this still, which premiered at Entertainment Weekly?  I have no idea.  Behind them, though, the setting deviates from the usual H.R. Giger-inspired derelict interiors we've been seeing for the last few months.  Instead, this one looks like a ruin of some sort, complete with an alien language.

Whether they're ruins or spaceship interiors, the sets in Prometheus were created by Scott's frequent production designer Arthur Max, who also worked on Gladiator, American Gangster, Kingdom of Heaven, and Robin Hood.  This film will allow y'all to see Max's creations in 3D for the first time, as this is Scott's first foray into shooting 3D (Rogue 3D Eyewear right here, folks).

Rapace and Marshall-Green star alongside Charlize Theron, Idris Elba, Michael Fassbender, Guy Pearce, Patrick Wilson, Kate Dickie, Sean Harris, and Rafe Spall.  They'll be reciting dialogue written by Jon Spaihts and Damon Lindelof.

Prometheus hits theaters on June 8th.
