You can get in on more still action at Entertainment Weekly, where all the images debuted as part of a big article on the film with copious quotes from Walker. Head over that way for more images, as well as insights on the thinking behind the film, which is based on the novel by Pride and Prejudice and Zombies author Seth Grahame-Smith.
"It’s told through the structure of Lincoln’s actual life," the leading man explains. "You not only see these huge fight scenes and great moments of drama, but you get sort of the greatest hits of Lincoln’s life, from the mysterious death of his mother through the Gettysburg address. You get a portrait of this man, as well as a thriller.”

The concept at work here seems either to be something you really, really like or really, really don't, depending on your sensibilities. And the notion that a secret vampire conspiracy was supporting the American slave trade seems, um, less horrific than the actual fact.
Anyways, Timur Bekmambetov, the guy behind the Russian films Nightwatch and Daywatch who made his English language debut with Wanted, is directing from a script by Grahame-Smith and Simon Kinberg, who is also producing.
Benjamin Walker is starring, with Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Mary Todd Lincoln and a supporting cast that includes Anthony Mackie, Alan Tudyk, Jimmi Simpson, Dominic Cooper, Rufus Sewell, Erin Wasson, and Robin McLeavy.
Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter arrives in theaters on June 22nd.
