This piece of artwork, created to promote the sequel at this week's European Film Market in Berlin, is here courtesy of Coming Soon, and it is pretty much exactly what you'd expect: Trejo looking pissed off and dangerous above the movie's self-explanatory title.

What started out as a gag trailer in 2007's Tarantino-Rodriguez team-up Grindhouse continues in the new film, which will follow Machete as he's recruited by the U.S. government to battle a Mexican Cartel and a bad guy bent on harnessing a powerful space-weapon. Machete Kills is meant to be the middle chapter in a trilogy that will conclude with Machete Kills Again, in which the hero ventures into outer space, where he'll presumably continue killing guys and making love to ladies. A trailer for Machete Kills Again will precede Machete Kills, carrying on the tradition of including a trailer for a nonexistent movie.
