That the best close-up of The Lizard available to everybody online should come from a merchandising tie-in is entirely appropriate, given that the first online look at the beast came by way of a PEZ dispenser back in November.
The images below are courtesy of SuperHeroHype,* and they show Lizard sculpts from specialty collectible creators Diamond Selects. A look at two Spider-Man sculpts is also included to give an idea of just how accurate the work on display is to what will be onscreen.

Rhys Ifans, best known to American audiences as Hugh Grant's wacky roommate Spike in Notting Hill and the kicker in The Replacements, plays Dr. Connors, who in this iteration is an old professional friend of Peter Parker's long-disappeared dad. The new Peter is played by Andrew Garfield, while Richard Parker is represented by Campbell Scott. Embeth Davidtz appears as Peter's mom, and the cast is filled out by the likes of Sally Field, Martin Sheen, Denis Leary, and Chris Zylka.
Marc Webb directs from a screenplay by James Vanderbilt and Steve Kloves.
The Amazing Spider-Man does things with webbing in 3D on July 3rd (more than enough time to procure Rogue 3D Eyewear, folks).
*Believe it or not, kids, but SuperheroHype started out as SpiderManHype in the days long before Sam Raimi was even hired to direct 2002's Spider-Man. This is conclusive evidence that I am, in fact, getting too old for this shit.
