Thor's Arms Dominate a New 'The Avengers' Image

Apparently, when filming last summer's Thor, star Chris Hemsworth kept putting on so much muscle that his costumes had to be modified to accommodate his rippedness. In this summer's The Avengers, one of the thunder god's new outfits features no sleeves, allowing us all to bask more fully in the sight of Hemsworth's physicality.

A new image from Marvel's big team-up shows Thor and Agent Coulson, once again played by Clark Gregg, chilling at SHIELD headquarters, with two elements most prominent: Thor's right arm and Thor's left arm.

The image debuted on the film's official facebook page. It makes you wonder just what Coulson and his Asgardian buddy are looking at on the screen before them. Loki doing dastardly deeds? Tony Stark in a kiddie pool filled with bourbon? Hacked cell phone images of Black Widow wearing naught but a smile? Youtube clips of Samuel L. Jackson death scenes? Porn? Almost certainly porn.

We're just about two months from The Avengers kicking off summer movie season on May 4th. The film is being post-converted into 3D, meaning you might want to look into some Rogue 3D Eyewear.

While it remains to be seen if the movie will be as epic as an assembly of Earth's mightiest heroes, but since it's written and directed by Buffy the Vampire Slayer creator Joss Whedon, we can say with confidence that the characters will be sharp and the dialogue snappy.

Playing the characters who will surely spout quotable dialogue are Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Robert Downey Jr., Tom Hiddleston, Jeremy Renner, and Cobie Smulders.
