Video: Jonah Hill & Channing Tatum in an Important '21 Jump Street' PSA

For all the confident lunacy featured in this Friday's 21 Jump Street, the film tackles an issue of great importance amongst today's youth.  Though the film follows narcotics officers undercover to infiltrate a high school drug ring, the issue at stake here isn't drug abuse.  No, it's even more dangerous: shoving your fingers down a friend's throat in order to make him vomit.

Though the movie is a comedy, stars Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum have taken the bold step of releasing a public service announcement advising us all, "In reality, finger-blasting another man's mouth is no laughing matter."

In the mock-PSA to which JoBlo directed the world's attention, BAFTA nominee Hill and MTV Best Kiss Award nominee Tatum cover the dangers of hand-jacking an oral cavity, including the dreaded Lepatitis A.

The use of Tim & Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!-style non sequiturs and general stilted awkwardness suits the no holds-barred ludicrousness of 21 Jump Street like a glove.  Well done all around on the mock-PSA, gentlemen. Well done.

Hill, who co-wrote the screenplay with Michael Bacall, stars alongside Tatum.  They're surrounded by a supporting cast of proven funny people like Rob Riggle, Brie Larson, Ice Cube, Jake Johansson, DeRay Davis, Ellie Kemper, Rob Riggle, Nick Offerman, and Chris Parnell.

Phil Lord and Chris Miller are making their live-action feature debut here, following in the footsteps of fellow animation vets Brad Bird and Andrew Stanton, who respectively delivered Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol and John Carter.

21 Jump Street arrives at theaters nationwide this Friday, March 16th.
