Cillian Murphy in 'Inception'

Inception star Cillian Murphy is getting ready to join Justin Timberlake and Amanda Seyfried in Andrew Niccol's (Gattaca) sci-fi thriller I'm.mortal, reports Heat Vision Blog. While Murphy is a benevolent figure in Christopher Nolan's Inception, he's played many a bad guy in his time, most notably in Nolan's Batman Begins and Wes Craven's Red Eye. Seems like he'll be doing so again in this futuristic suspense flick...

I'm.mortal is set in the not-too-distant future, when the aging gene has been switched off. To avoid overpopulation, time has become the currency and the way people pay for luxuries and necessities. The rich can live forever, and the rest try to negotiate for their immortality.

When a poor man named Will (Timberlake) is suddenly given a fortune, he becomes the target of a murder investigation and kidnaps an heiress (Seyfried) while on the run.

Murphy will evidently portray an officer from an organization known as Timekeepers, no doubt the group that will be on Timberlake's tale. It will be no surprise whatsoever if Timberlake and Seyfried end up falling in love, right?

Strike Entertainment, the production company behind Dawn of the Dead and The Last Exorcism, is producing I'm.mortal, which is aiming for a September start.
