So far in the running are Scarlett Johansson, Zooey Deschanel, Kirsten Dunst, Kristen Stewart, Dakota Fanning, and Emma Watson.

While GaGa won't be playing herself, she will produce and help score the film. The project is currently being shopped around to all the Hollywood studios. No word yet as to who will write the screenplay or direct, but GaGa's huge profile will definitely attract the biggest names in Hollywood.
