In the first Taken four years ago, Kim Mills was the takee, having been kidnapped by some unsavory types. In the next installment, however, she has a more active role, helping her father escape the clutches of yet more unsavory types and, ultimately, free her mother from bondage. We don't know if Kim genetically inherited a badass characteristic or if she learned it by watching Bryan Mills, played once again by Liam Neeson, but this clip does suggest that Kim is on her way to a potential CIA career too.
She proves it by driving a beat-up Mercedes cab through the streets of Istanbul at ballistic speeds, but it is, of course, Mills the senior who makes the bigger impression. That's just what he does. And yeah, some people get killed or maimed in the process.

Transporter 3 and Colombiana director Olivier Megaton takes over on the sequel, working from a screenplay by producer Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen, both of whom wrote the first movie.
The new story finds Mills bringing Kim and her mother to visit while he's working in Istanbul, which ends up being a problem, since the family of the first movie's kidnappers seek to avenge their blood by devastating Bryan Mills. Unfortunately for them, that's like fighting a hurricane.
Hurricane Bryan hits theaters on October 5th.
