Indie horror outfit After Dark Films has lined up three actors for its thriller Transit, reveals The Hollywood Reporter.  Elisabeth Rohm, Harold Perrineau and Diora Baird have been cast in the After Dark Films thriller. The studio, mostly known for acquiring low-budget horror flicks and distributing through their annual "8 Films To Die For" festival, is now fully financing its projects, and Transit is one of them.

Harold Perrineau ("Lost"), Elizabeth Rohm ("Law & Order") and Diora Baird (Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning) will appear in the film, which is being directed by Antonio Negret. Not the sort of horror tale After Dark is known for, Transit is about a band of thieves on the run from a bank robbery and the suburban family they come across during their escape. When the criminals stash their stolen money in the family's SUV at a rest stop, the road trippers unwittingly draw the murderous band of outlaws on their trail.

Rohm will play the mother of the family, while Perrineau and Baird will play two of the outlaws. Presumably the rest of the cast will come together soon for Transit, and we'll let you know when it does.

Have you ever been to one of After Dark's "Horrorfests"?
