Just to keep you updated, the cast also includes Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox Arquette and David Arquette, the ones that weren’t killed off in the previous installments. Of course, the new crop of fodder for the killings is Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere, Marielle Jaffe, Rory Culkin, Nico Tortorella, Erik Knudsen, Anthony Anderson, Adam Brody, Marley Shelton, Alison Brie and Mary McDonnell. Jeez… who isn’t in this flick?!?
With that said, the Scream franchise has always put bigger name actors to good use, so the question is, which of these names will actually carry weight with the story at hand and who is simply a cameo. And of course, who and how will “Ghost Face” terrorize and brutalize (with humor of course).
With Craven’s latest thriller, My Soul to Take is hitting screens on October 8 of this year, so it looks as though he is very busy in the horror genre. That alone will please many of his fans who have been waiting for Craven to direct again.
So far, the Scream trilogy has earned an impressive $300 million domestically. Scream 4 will frighten audiences in April of 2011.
Are you excited for another Scream?
