As you know, Relativity Media recently produced the hit adaptation of Nicholas Sparks' Dear John. The movie garnered rave reviews and opened up at #1 at the box office. His other films - The Notebook and The Last Song among them - have all been hits, magically balancing romance and poignant drama to heart-wrenching effect.

With the impending release of Nicholas Sparks' novel, Safe Haven, I am dying to know how he continually gets inspiration for such heartfelt stories that transition so beautifully to the big screen. Luckily, Rogue had the opportunity to sit down with the acclaimed novelist for an in-depth interview to find out precisely how he does it!
