Based on a script by Jesse Studenberg and Will Hayes, Shark Night supposedly drummed up a lot of interest when it was pre-selling at this past spring's Cannes Film Festival. Naturally - who doesn't enjoy watching people get eaten alive by sharks?

Shark Night 3D will begin filming this month in Shreveport, Louisiana, under the direction of Ellis, who knows a thing or two about 3D (The Final Destination) as well as killer critters (Snakes on a Plane).
