This new mega-movie from Disney and Sam Raimi, the director behind The Evil Dead, A Simple Plan, and Spider-Man, is a prequel to The Wizard of Oz returning audiences to L. Frank Baum's fantasy setting, this time with the benefit of modern digital technology and, of course, 3D. You're going to want some Rogue 3D Eyewear for the story of Oscar Diggs, a disreputable illusionist who attempts to flee a debt aboard a hot-air balloon, which then gets caught in a tornado and deposits him in Oz. There, he's mistaken for a great wizard of prophecy and soon finds himself in over his head with witches and all manner of craziness.
This little sneak preview of the Oz the Great and Powerful Super Bowl spot clocks in at a mere eleven second and includes no new footage or anything, but here it is:
And now for the real reason you're here: Mila Kunis.
Late last week, Disney unveiled a character poster for Evanora, the witch played by Rachel Weisz. Shortly thereafter, we also saw character posters for Oscar and Glinda, played by James Franco and Michelle Williams, respectively. The set of character posters is now complete, as Kunis's Theodora joins Evanora, Glinda, and Oscar.

Oz the Great and Powerful arrives in 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D on March. Check back to IAR next week to see all the Super Bowl movie spots in full.
