'G.I. Joe: Retaliation' Gets One Clip and Four Featurettes

Hike your pants up past your ankles, Rogues, because we're got a minor flood of goodies from G.I. Joe: Retaliation.

To be specific, we have one official clip and no fewer than four – four! – featurettes promoting the action sequel that hits theaters on March 29th in 2D and 3D.

The clip itself, courtesy of MSN UK is about half build-up, as Byung-hun Lee throws on his Storm Shadow mask and makes haste to defend a Cobra outpost, only to end up in a standoff with his old nemesis Snake Eyes, played once again by Ray Park.  What follows is, in action figure terms, an enthusiastic kid smashing the two together in an approximation of combat.

The first of the featurettes is by far the more substantial, focusing on Bruce Willis as retired General Joe Colton, the legendary leader who first assembled the G.I. squad.  Switching between talking head interview footage and snippets of the movie, the featurette from Comic Book Movie, this minute-long video has Willis doing his Willis thing and playing it cool both in character and out, saying, "I still remember playing with G.I. Joes all the time."

These other three featurettes, also from Comic Book Movie, are less hefty, each clocking in at around twenty seconds.  To continue a theme, they're basically like those little character profiles on the back on an action figure box.  Each shows one character in action and includes a quip or two.  They cover Lady Jaye, Flint, and Duke, played respectively by Adrianne Palicki, D.J. Cotrona, and Channing Tatum.  Like Lee and Park, Tatum is one of the few G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra actors to return.  Don't expect him to stick around for too long though.

Okay, here's the clip:

And all the featurettes:
