Originally published in 1667, Paradise Lost is the story of the Fall of Man: the temptation of Adam and Eve by the fallen angel Satan and their expulsion from the Garden of Eden. Naturally, the project is being developed as a CG epic, most likely in the vein of 300 or the upcoming Immortals, as Variety says it will be crafted as an action vehicle that will include aerial warfare.
The script has been toiled over by many, including Stuart Hazeldine (Exam) and Lawrence Kasdan (Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Empire Strikes Back). Up-and-coming scribe Ryan Condal (Galahad, Of Queen and Country) wrote the most recent draft.
